With Advanced Tandem OLED Screen, Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 Will Be Launched Soon

Quoted from GSM ArenaWednesday (18/9), the launch of the tablet with a Tandem OLED PaperMatte Display screen will be held in Barcelona, Thursday (19/9) local time.
It is a dual-layer OLED with higher brightness reaching up to 2,000 nits, longer endurance and 33 percent lower power consumption.
The PaperMatte screen type reduces glare and light reflection by up to 60 percent and creates a paper-like writing experience for the Huawei M-Pencil stylus.
Drawing and sketching are the tablet’s main selling points, thanks to Huawei’s GoPaint app. The display itself runs at 144Hz, so it should feel more responsive when used for drawing.
The tablet will also feature a keyboard cover, which can hold the screen at a low angle so it’s comfortable for drawing or propping it up like a tablet.
The MatePad Pro 12.2 (2024) won’t be alone, Huawei will also launch the MatePad 12X. Judging by the rear design, this tablet could be the MatePad Air (2024), but the X post is lacking any details.
In addition to tablets, Huawei will also release two smartwatches, the Watch GT 5 and Watch D2.
