Quoted from GSM Arena, Monday (23/9), the latest action camera made by DJI relies on a 1,950 mAh battery which is claimed to last four hours as its main selling point.
The company claims that even at temperatures of -20 degrees Celsius, this camera can record up to 3.6 hours.
This is certainly an improvement compared to the average battery life for action cameras, which is 2 hours. Another plus, if users use DJI’s 30W USB-C charger, 2 hours of recording can be done after charging for 15 minutes.
According to the official description, this camera has a 1/1.3-inch sensor with a pixel size of 2.4 micrometers. The lens can record 4K video at 60fps in low light, capturing intricate shadow details without overexposing the highlights.
The Action 5 Pro also includes SuperNight mode with AI noise reduction which promises to produce cleaner and clearer footage.
The Osmo Action 5 Pro comes with built-in subject centering and tracking, powered by machine learning algorithms.
Thanks to its waterproof certification, the camera can dive to depths of up to 20 meters without a case, while the built-in color temperature sensor captures true-to-life colors underwater.
The camera’s OLED display has a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, and the screen-to-body ratio is now 16% better thanks to a larger panel and narrower bezels. The Osmo Action 5 Pro can connect directly to the DJI Mic 2 Transmitter via Bluetooth for ultra-high sampling rate audio recording without the need for a receiver.
In terms of storage, this camera has a capacity of 47 GB, high-speed transfer of up to 80 MB/s via Wi-Fi 6 or USB 3.0, Wi-Fi direct streaming support, Timecode to synchronize recordings from multiple cameras.
The Osmo Action 5 Pro is now available in two packages.
