Quoted from Nikkei AsiaMonday (9/9), Huawei Mate XT will be officially launched on Tuesday China time, a day after Apple is expected to showcase the iPhone 16 in the US.

The Mate XT, which will be available in red and black, will go on sale on September 20. Pricing and detailed specifications are likely to be announced at Tuesday’s launch.

Global foldable smartphone shipments grew 85 percent in the April-June period, according to Canadian research firm TechInsights. Huawei led the global market, followed by South Korea’s Samsung Electronics and China’s Vivo.
