Ukraine impose a curfew in their capital, Kyivto anticipate provocation Russia starting Monday (25/4).
The head of the Kyiv Region Military Administration, Oleksandr Pavliuk, said the curfew would be in effect from 10pm to 5am the next day.
“We remind you that during that curfew, it’s forbidden to be on the streets and other public places, too [dilarang] move using transportation or walking modes,” said Pavliuk.
However, Pavliuk emphasized that this rule does not apply to workers in essential infrastructure who have permits and special identity cards.
“During the curfew, it is important to comply with the rules and decisions applied on the ground. Those measures protect the population from enemy provocations [Rusia],” he said, as reported by CNN.
Currently, the situation in Kyiv is actually starting to get better because Russia has withdrawn its troops from the capital and has begun to concentrate on eastern Ukraine.
Seeing this conducive situation, a number of countries have started to move their embassy operations from Lviv to Kyiv.
Until now, it is not known what kind of provocation Pavliuk was referring to. However, residents are still asked to obey the orders of the authorities.
