Ukraine deploys new M-777 howitzer artillery from United States of America at the vanguard of the war against the army Russia.
“Howizter M-777 in action. This is part of the latest US $800 million package of assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the US Embassy in Ukraine said in a statement on Sunday (15/5), as quoted by Reuters. Reuters.
However, the US Embassy stated that there was still one in 90 artillery aid from Uncle Sam’s country that had not been delivered to Ukraine.
“All but one of the 90 Howitzers delivered by the US are now in Ukraine. Many of them are now deployed on the front lines,” the statement said.
The M-777 Howitzer Artillery is considered one of the most needed weapons in the front line due to its long range and accuracy.
Since Russia began its invasion on February 24, the US has continued to provide military and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
As of last month, the US has provided a total of more than US$1.7 billion in military aid to help Ukraine resist the Russian invasion.
Overall, the United States has poured more than $2.4 billion in aid to Ukraine since U.S. President Joe Biden took power last year.
