Ria Ricis and her husband, Teuku Ryan, have just announced that the gender of their first child will be a girl.
“Alhamdulillah, it turns out that our first child, God willing, will be born with a female gender,” said Ricis through his YouTube channel on Wednesday (18/5).
Along with the announcement, Ria Ricis also revealed that she actually wanted to have a boy in her first pregnancy.
This can be seen in the costumes worn by Ria Ricis and Teuku Ryan at the event. Ria Ricis wears a blue shirt, while Teuku Ryan wears a pink shirt.
“I want a boy, my husband wants a girl. That’s why I wear a blue shirt and my husband wears a pink shirt,” said Ricis at the beginning of the event.
“Although I want it to be a boy, but it turns out to be a girl, I’m still very grateful. Whether it’s a boy or a girl, it will always be our favorite child,” he continued.
Ria Ricis first announced her pregnancy via social media on Tuesday (22/3). In the upload, Ria Ricis and Teuku Ryan are compact in all blue.
Ryan was seen hugging Ria Ricis who was showing a positive result on a pregnancy test kit.
“ALHAMDULILLAH.. God put the baby in my body. No need to hide and seek anymore. Finally the baby went public too,” wrote Ria Ricis on Instagram.
“Please pray for all of us, friends. We wish you good health.”
This pregnancy is Ria Ricis’s first experience after officially marrying Teuku Ryan at the end of last year, Friday (12/11). The two of them got married at a hotel in Pondok Indah, Jakarta.
Ria Ricis and Teuku Ryan were married by the head of the H.Madari from KUA. Then actor Deddy Mizwar acted as the guardian who married Ria Ricis.
Then the witnesses from Ria Ricis’s family were the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, and Komjen Boy Rafli Amar. Meanwhile, witnesses from Teuku Ryan’s family were Ustaz Adi Hidayat and Ustaz Yusuf Mansyur.
