Government English now training a small group of troops Ukraine for the first time after the invasion Russia at the start.
The exercise comes after British Prime Minister Boris Johnson reiterated his military support for Ukraine and mocked Russian President Vladimir Putin like a crocodile.
“It makes sense that they get the necessary training to use [kendaraan] it well. We have always realized that anything can be judged as an escalation, but what is now clearly increasing is the regime’s actions [Vladimir] Putin,” Johnson’s spokesman said Reuters.
As reported by Reuters, Ukrainian troops trained using armored patrol vehicles provided by Britain this month. The UK alone provided 120 armored patrol vehicles, including the Mastiff, which could be used as reconnaissance or patrol vehicles.
Britain is one of the supporters of Ukraine against Russia. The country is sending anti-ship, anti-aircraft and light anti-tank weapons to Ukraine.
Johnson even mocked Putin when he talked about a peace dialogue between Ukraine and Russia.
According to Johnson, dealing with Putin is like “a crocodile that bites your leg with its jaws.” He also considered it important for the West to supply weapons to Ukraine.
“It’s very difficult to see how Ukraine can negotiate with Putin, seeing as he lacks goodwill. His strategy, which is proven, is to try to take and capture as many Ukrainians as possible and maybe have some kind of negotiation from a position of strength,” he continued.
