Model and environmental activist Nadya Hutagalung (47) feel more free after appearing with gray hair. The decision to appear as is without hair dye it was taken after a long process.
“Well here it is, I’m graying out and love it. We age, it’s a natural part of being human, nobody knows how to stop it and why not show us our wisdom!” Nadya wrote in an upload on her personal Instagram account.

Over the years, he admits that he struggles to reconcile the public’s expectations and his feelings. It’s true, he says, that the perfect look on any occasion is stunning.
“But one thing that should be done is to feel comfortable in accordance with the lifestyle and beliefs. Engaged in advocating for a healthy life and a healthy planet for many years, now one thing that bothers me is the constant need to color my gray hair,” he said.
The mother of three says her hair grows pretty fast. When work is busy, he can dye his hair every two weeks.
Efforts to cover gray hair is clearly time-consuming, costly, and adds chemicals to the hair. In fact, he prefers to live without chemicals.
Finally, Nadya chose to make peace with her gray hair. Even in the upload on Instagram, this Australian-Indonesian bloody woman still looks as charming as when she had black hair.
“Now, I feel so much freer! I have loved my hair these past few days because it feels healthier, stronger and honestly much more attractive than before,” she says.
“I like [karena] it’s like having natural highlights and depending on the day and lighting, it can often look different.”
