musician Ello denied the allegations of absenteeism from the police summons to investigate the trading robot fraud case DNA Pro.
The newest vocalist of Dewa 19 confirmed that he had just received a summons for an examination last Monday (18/4).
“I was just summoned, I just received the letter yesterday. So if there is news that I’m said to be absent, everything is wrong,” said Ello in the TB Simatupang area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (19/4), quoted from detikHOT.
The musician whose real name is Marcello Tahitoe also explained that his examination schedule will take place on April 28, 2022. He promised to answer the police call at 13:00 WIB.
“Because I was just called, I just received the letter, and later on April 28, at 1 pm,” continued Ello.
Ello did not want to provide further details regarding his involvement in the DNA Pro case. He was only willing to provide further information to the police.
“What’s the problem, I will not tell you first because I will give information to the police first, then to you (journalists),” said Ello.
Previously, it was reported that Ello was absent from responding to a summons for an examination by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police on Monday (18/4).
According to the police statement, Ello asked to reschedule his examination, because there was a work schedule that could not be postponed.
“(Ello) Asked for a rescheduling, at least next week,” said the Director of Special Economic Crimes (Dirtipideksus) of the National Police Criminal Investigation Department Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan to reporters, Monday (18/4).
