Russia wants to seize southern Ukraine, not satisfied with occupying eastern region

Chechen commander: Putin’s orders complete, we destroy Mariupol
Federal lawmaker from the Chechen Republic Adam Delimkhanov said Russia had succeeded in destroying the Ukrainian port city of Mariupol.
Adam Delimkhanov is mentioned as one of the commanders of the Chechen special forces that acted in Mariupol.
Citing Themoscowtimes.com, the leader of the pro-Russian Chechen, Ramzan Kadyrov, posted a video of Adam Delimkhanov’s statement on social media.
In the video, Delimkhanov wears combat uniforms with dozens of Chechen soldiers in front of the administrative building belonging to the Azovstal steel factory where Ukrainian troops continue to fight off Russian attacks.
President Vladimir Putin praised Mariupol’s release Thursday morning and ordered that the remaining Ukrainian troops be blockaded inside the steel plant.
Singapore Relaxes Massive Covid Restrictions Starting April 26
Singapore will ease its restrictions related to Covid-19 massively starting Tuesday (26/4) next week.
The statement was made by Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in a post on his social media, Saturday (23/4).
“This change will bring us almost completely to a pre-Covid-19 state. I believe that everyone will remain socially responsible — wear a mask when indoors, self-isolate if you’re feeling unwell, and take care of each other, ” wrote PM Lee on his social media account as quoted by The Straits Times.

Based on a quick count, the incumbent French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron is projected to be re-elected to lead the country, defeating right-wing politician Marine Le Pen, Sunday (24/4).
