Actor Andrew Garfield open the opportunity to compete again with Tobey Maguire in the future. Both of them star in the movie Spider-Man: No Way Home accompany Tom Holland.
“Of course I’d be very happy if I could work with Tobey [Maguire] again!” he said to ETon Wednesday (20/4).
For Garfield, Maguire is an actor he admires. He also admitted that he really enjoyed spending time with Maguire.
“He’s a great actor and a great friend of mine, I really like him,” Garfield continued.
Garfield and Maguire built a friendship while filming Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Since then, Garfield has also been seen hanging out with Maguire on various occasions. In fact, the two of them watched the movie Everything Everywhere All at Once together.
“It was so much fun,” Garfield said of his time with Maguire.
“Of course I want to make something with Maguire,” he said.
After starring in Spider-Man: No Way Home, now Andrew Garfield is busy with his latest thriller series project entitled Under the Banner of Heaven.
The series is adapted from Jon Krakauer’s non-fiction work. The title tells the story of Detective Jeb Pyre (Andrew Garfield) who is investigating the 1984 murder of Brenda Lafferty and her baby.
Playing a fairly dark story and characters, Garfield said that he needed to keep the distance between the characters he was playing with himself.
“I had to figure out a way to separate that out, because I didn’t want to bring that character home,” Garfield explained.
Premier Under the Banner of Heaven will immediately present the first two episodes. As for the new episodes that will be released in each following week.
Under the Banner of Heaven will premiere on April 28, 2022.
